Creating Legal Pages

How to generate and host Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages for your apps.

FastStore lets you generate and host Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages for your apps.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to your app and click Legal Pages in the sidebar.
  2. If you haven't set a username yet, you'll be prompted to create one first.
  3. Once your username is set, you can generate and edit your legal pages.

Username

Your username is part of your public page URLs (e.g., faststore.app/i/your-username/your-app/privacy).

  • 3-20 characters
  • Lowercase English letters, numbers, and hyphens only
  • Cannot start or end with a hyphen
  • Must be unique

Generating Content

Privacy Policy

Click Generate with AI on the Privacy Policy tab to open the Privacy Policy Wizard. The wizard guides you through 8 steps to customize your policy:

  1. Basic Information — App name, entity type, country, platform
  2. Data Collection — Personal data, usage data, device data, location data
  3. Cookies & Tracking — Cookie usage, tracking technologies
  4. Third-Party Services — Analytics, advertising, payment processors, social login, etc.
  5. Legal Compliance — GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and other regulations
  6. Data Processing — Retention, sharing, user rights
  7. Children's Privacy — Age restrictions, parental consent
  8. Contact & Dates — Contact information, effective date

The AI generates a comprehensive, tailored privacy policy based on your selections.

Terms of Service

Click Generate with AI on the Terms of Service tab to open the Terms of Service Wizard. The wizard guides you through 13 steps:

  1. Basic Information — App name, entity type, country, platform
  2. User Accounts — Registration, termination, responsibilities, age
  3. Products & Services — Service types, free trials
  4. Payments & Subscriptions — Methods, billing, auto-renewal, price changes
  5. Refunds & Cancellations — Refund policy, cancellation terms
  6. User-Generated Content — Content types, licensing, moderation
  7. Intellectual Property — Ownership, restrictions, DMCA
  8. Prohibited Uses — Prohibited activities
  9. Limitation of Liability — Warranty, liability cap, excluded damages
  10. Dispute Resolution — Method, governing law, arbitration
  11. Changes & Termination — Notice methods, service availability
  12. Third-Party & Indemnification — Links, disclaimers, indemnification
  13. Contact & Dates — Contact information, effective date

You can edit the generated content at any time.

Publishing

Toggle the Published switch to make a page publicly accessible. Unpublished pages will show a 404 error.

Page URLs

Your legal pages are available at:

  • Privacy Policy: your-domain/i/username/app-slug/privacy
  • Terms of Service: your-domain/i/username/app-slug/terms

You can customize the app slug from the Legal Pages settings.

Auto-Linked in Metadata

If you have published legal pages, FastStore will automatically append your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service URLs to the end of AI-generated app descriptions.

Rich Text Editor

The legal page editor supports rich text formatting:

  • Bold, *italic*, and underline
  • Headings (H1 through H5)
  • Bullet lists and numbered lists

Costs

Each AI generation (privacy or terms) costs 1 credit.
