Fix problems when syncing apps with App Store Connect.

App Sync Issues

Sync Takes Too Long

Cause: Large apps with many versions, localizations, or reviews can take longer.

Fix:

  • Wait for the sync to complete — don't close the browser.
  • If it seems stuck, refresh the page and try again.

Missing Metadata After Sync

Cause: Only the editable (latest) version's metadata is synced.

Fix:

  1. Make sure your app has a version in "Prepare for Submission" or "Ready for Review" state.
  2. Sync again after creating a new version in App Store Connect.

Version Status Shows Unexpected States

Common states you might see:

  • Prepare for Submission — Editable version, ready for your changes.
  • In Review — Apple is reviewing this version.
  • Ready for Distribution — Approved and live (or scheduled).
  • Rejected — Apple rejected this version. Check the Rejection tab for details.

Note: Old versions with states like "Replaced by New Version" or "Removed from Sale" are automatically filtered out.
